Guys, I’m lucky enough to have worked for a company who believed in Employee Engagement. Outbreaks and team building activities used to be a norm trough-out the organization. In 2009, our HR excursion took place in Nepal. To be honest, I wasn’t very thrilled when I first got to know where we are going, I thought there were better places, but the three days we spent there, was the BEST time ever! The place was so beautiful, almost surreal. The memories of the trip are stuck in my head like yesterday’s.

Yes it is very beautiful, scenic and all that, but the best thing about it, was that I traveled to Turkey with my mom. Yes, you heard it right, just me and mum!! I had such a fabulous time, that I would recommend everyone (who are lucky enough to have their parents around) to travel with their mums, at least once.

Vacation Finally!! – Day 2: The Dream Destination Killarney

Killarney is the Switzerland of Ireland. It is undoubtedly, the most favorite tourist destination in the country. People come here for all sorts of reasons. Be it sight-seeing, outdoor activities, food & entertainment or just relaxing. Its central location makes it the automatic start and end of Ring of Kerry and Dingle Peninsula. Hence, it is ideal to be based in for a few days, to explore the South-West.

Vacation Finally!! – Day 1: Gap of Dunloe

In my two years in Ireland, I’ve never travelled so much as much as I’ve travelled in the last few weeks. We planned to go to the South-West of Ireland and stay there for a couple of days. My husband booked a holiday home in a small town at the south of County Kerry, called Kenmare, which is 45 mins drive from the main Killarney town center. Most of the tourist attraction is in Killarney, and hence the decision to stay close to it.
